MobiledgeX assisted Openstack Deployment options
Deployment Scenario 1: Operator provides Baremetal Server IPMI access to MobiledgeX
In this Deployment option, Operator setup Bare-metal Servers with MobiledgeX recommended CPU,Memory and disk/HDD MobiledgeX specifications and provides MobiledgeX with Bare-metal Server IPMI access. MobiledgeX will then install base operating system on these servers, configure server side networking based on operator inputs, install IaaS Openstack and create cloudlets based on the internet and wireless handset Network Specifications of the operator and manage the cloudlets. MobiledgeX will also manage required Firewall in Openstack level for open networks. Operator can optionally manage additional Firewall as well.

BareMetal OS Requirements:
CentOS 7
RHEL 7
Ubuntu 16.04 or above
Firewall Requirements:
Refer to the Operators Security Responsibility section of the Security and Privacy Standards Policies document for information on firewall requirements.
Deployment Scenario 2: Operator installs MobiledgeX recommended Operating System in Bare-metal Servers and provide SSH access to MobiledgeX
In this Deployment option , Operator setup Bare-metal Servers with needed CPU,Memory and disk/HDD specifications, install base operating systems and configure server side networking on these servers based on MobiledgeX checklist and recommended Network Configurations . MobiledgeX will then provided with ssh access to these servers. MobiledgeX will install IaaS Openstack and create cloudlets based on the Network Specifications provided by the operator and manage them.MobiledgeX will manage required Firewall in Openstack level for open networks. Operator can optionally manage additional Firewall as well.
